Dave Bjork
A lung cancer survivor, Dave Bjork has made it his life mission to connect patients, biopharma companies, academic institutions, and other key influencers to forge strong partnerships to focus on research. Dave has more than 25 years of progressive experience in community-building, nonprofit fundraising, and patient engagement and empowerment leadership. Dave is also a valued board member of The White Ribbon Project and is the “protector of the ribbon”. He fiercely defends the integrity of our hand-crafted ribbons, all made with love and too large to remain hidden from sight. He embodies our values in lung cancer advocacy including the acceptance that anyone affected by lung cancer can be a valued member of the lung cancer community.
In addition to working as a full-time consultant, he managed to launch a remarkably informative and entertaining podcast. It includes numerous interviews with prominent clinicians, researchers, and industry professionals, many with a special interest in lung cancer.
