Dr. Michael Gieske
DR. MICHAEL GIESKE, a 1984 graduate of the University of Louisville Medical College, completed his Family Practice Residency in 1987 at St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Edgewood, Kentucky. He played a pivotal role in expanding a group of 4 independent family practitioners to a network of 26 practitioners across 5 sites, now part of St. Elizabeth Physicians with 180+ primary care providers. Serving as lead physician in Ft. Mitchell, Ky., and East Division Physician Director of Primary Care, he oversees 10 sites. His dedication to the Low Dose CT (LDCT) Lung Cancer Screening Program resulted in 36,000+ screens, identifying over 560 lung cancers, primarily in stage I. Driven by his passion, he's received multiple awards and actively advocates for patients, policy, and government relations while enjoying hobbies and family time.
